The date of counselling for admission to B.Sc nursing programme in Assam has been announced. Date, Time and Venue of Counselling


The counselling for the B.Sc nursing course will be held on 13th and 14th September, 2013 at the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. The counselling session will start from 11 am onwards.

The Counselling Programme


The candidates who have secured 62 marks or above are requested to appear in counselling on 13th September, 2013. There are total 100 seats for unreserved quota, after filling up these seats, candidates will be admitted belonging to reserved category who have got 62 or above marks on that day.
On 14th September, 2013, candidates having the following marks and quotas can appear in the counselling-
  • OBC/MOBC candidates obtaining marks 61, 60, 59 and 58 in order of merit.
  • SC candidates obtaining marks 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55, 54 and 53 in order of merit.
  • ST(P) candidates obtaining marks 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55 and 54 in order of merit.
  • ST(H) candidates obtaining marks 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48 and 47 in order of merit.
  • TGL/Ex-TGL candidates obtaining marks 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48 and 47 in order of merit.
If two candidates get same marks in the Entrance Examination, their rank will be decide by considering performance in Biology paper. If still the marks remains same, then the marks of Biology in H.S. Examination will be considered.

Candidates must appear positively in time and have to produce the following testimonials in original and photocopy at the time of counselling-
  • Mark sheet of 10+2
  • Admit Card of HSLC Examination
  • Pass Certificates
  • PRC
  • Caste Certificate
  • Admit Card of Common Entrance Examination 2013
