Admission into Dibrugarh University for M.Sc in Bioinformatics, 2013

Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University has declared admission notification for two years M.Sc programme in Bioinformatics for the session 2013-14. It should be mentioned that in the entire north-east of India, Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University is the only institution which offers M.Sc Bioinformatics and Ph D Bioinformatics Course. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have obtained graduation in Biological, Veterinary, Agricultural, Medical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology and Engineering from a recognized University or institution. Candidates belonging to science discipline must have at least two of the subjects- Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in their graduate course. Major course students must have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate and pass course students must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates may download the application form from the Dibrugarh University's website www.dibru.ac.in. However, a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of the “REGISTRAR, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY” payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY BRANCH (Code No. 2051) has to be submitted along with the filled up application form at the time of submission. Completed application should be submitted or sent to Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, D.U. Reservation of seats will be as per rule.
